Giving credit where credit is due

I should've mentioned on my post below, that I found this wonderful quote on Lynda Quintero Davids' fb post.  She has an incredible home decor blog that I love!!

Full disclosure  ~
The last part about the wine? I made it up. (It seemed only fitting that it should be added!)
And I copied the cute little party mice from Google images.

Waxed at last!

Last night I finally got my much-needed and overdue brow wax.
Definitely feels much better!!

While I was at it, got a much-needed and overdue manicure too.
Reminds me of one of my all-time favorite movie scenes.....

'Gawd, I should've stopped in all my evil planning to get that manicure!'

LOVE Rupert Everett!!!
(like most devastatingly handsome men of his age are...)

Just following my own path.....

Wine drinkers are confident, savvy adventure seekers, according to a new study commissioned by San Francisco's Wine Institute.

The national survey of 2,442 consumers by Yankelovich and the Segmentation Co. also found that California wine ranks first in favorability and familiarity with U.S. wine consumers by a wide margin. The survey asked wine consumers about their familiarity and consumption of wines from 12 different U.S. and foreign regions.

The research showed that wine consumers stand out from the U.S. population in several ways and, in general, are more likely to:
Be open to new experiences
Follow their own path in life
Be confident and information-savvy consumers
Desire intangibles, experiences and emotions
Have their life priorities in order

Birthday Bouquet

I was very surprised to receive these gorgous flowers from Chantell, Brian, Tony, Zack and Hailey for my birthday. They were so beautiful!! I've never before been given such a big and beautiful bouquet. This pic just doesn't even do it justice. There were red roses, Gerber daisies, Asian lillies, and lots of other really stunning flowers.
Thanks, you guys -- they were awesome!!!

Brian, Chantell, Tony, Zack & Hailey surprised me with a beautiful huge bouquet of flowers!!
And Hailey brought me a very special added gift...a Garfield doll!
What a fun night with my wonderful family.

SICK, but no SWINE

The bad news is that hubby and I have been sick all week with the flu.
The good news is that it's not the H1N1 virus!

2 favs...Diana & Barbra

This is an article about a new Streisand album coming out in September featuring Diana Krall (love her!!) and produced by Diana. I can hardly wait - two of my all-time favorite female artists together! Jazz Station - Arnaldo DeSouteiro's Blog: Krall & Streisand: "Love Is the Answer"
