Hubby and I went on a wine run yesterday to replenish our stock.  While browsing the aisles, we picked up these purdy bottles.

And then, what to my wondering eyes should appear.....

For V-Day, hubby surprised me with a yummy bouquet of red roses *gorg* along with a gift card for a 90-minute stone massage!!! Ahhh, I can hardly wait!

Good day for a walk

Hubby and I went for a walk this afternoon around the neighborhood. Since the Chargers game was not aired locally (grrrrrr) I had to get out and vent my frustration! Better to go get some exercise than drown my sorrows in nachos!!!

Trip to Willey's

Last Saturday, Eric & I went to RC Willey's (furniture store) in Syracuse. It was such a gorgeous day! I took a few pics just to remember how nice this year's Indian summer has been.

Corbin's Tasting

Last week I won a little contest that Corbin's Grille ran on Facebook. Since it's one of my favorite restaurants here in Layton, I was pretty excited about it. I got to go to a private food tasting -- it was really a fun experience!

Janelle Carlson Everything we sampled was delicious, but my favorites were the Strawberry Fields Salad (would also be so good with salmon) and the grilled chicken/green chile sandwich. Yumm-O! Over the years, Eric and I have celebrated many Valentine's Days with Marty and Nyla. When we all lived in Logan together (many moons ago) you could count on one hand the number of times each year that we would have a night out and go to dinner. We were poor, starving student families! But we always made a point of having a good time on Valentine's Day. And so the tradition continues.....
